Go2Pay Rebrand

The idea behind this project demo is to bring a new look and feel to Go2Pay. Our goal is to gradually migrate the existing functionalities of our current app into a new, modernized format that is consistant across website and mobile apps..

Phase 1: Transition of Core Functionalities

Our first milestone will focus on porting the Transaction and Order functionalities that our customers interact with. This is a crucial step in ensuring that the core services remain uninterrupted and more user-friendly in the new system.

Our initial goals in this phase should include:

  • Porting Existing Users to the Authorisation Email/password login setup with access to various Go2Pay accounts.
  • Begin the creation of data access layers for the Go2Pay database via API to separate new front end from Data.
  • Working Transaction Tables with improved performance and flexibility with filters.
  • Tables that can be drilled into without losing track.
  • Improve ease of use to find related data at push of a button - Group Orders / Payments / Transactions / Refunds
  • Create Components to allow an easy transition from WebFoundation for existing pages across the estate.
  • Access existing functionality from new portal via hosted (i)Frames

Phase 2: Incorporation of Administrative Functions

Following the successful migration of customer-facing features, the next phase will involve bringing in the administrative functions.

This step will streamline the backend processes and enhance operational efficiency, setting the stage for full transition to a multi tennanted site.

Leverage the new blazor components and layout features to improve site usability.

Final Phase: Complete Transition and import services

Our journey will culminate in the complete phasing out of Go2Pay in its current form. By this stage, all functionalities, including advanced administrative tools, will have been successfully integrated into the new system. Our commitment to innovation and excellence drives us towards this future, promising a seamless and enriched user experience for both our customers and admin staff.

The final goal will be to allow us to port in existing functionalities of SmartPay, Recurring and IVR (Tonepay) under a single admin site.
